Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an experienced Epic Willow application support specialist to manage day-to-day operations, optimization, and implementation of Willow Inpatient and Ambulatory systems. You will work with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT to assess workflows, implement improvements, and ensure compliance and patient safety.

The role requires Epic Willow certification and 3+ years of relevant experience, with potential for competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in healthcare/IT.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant application support or Epic experience.
• Certification in Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory required.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and optimize Epic Willow applications (Willow Inpatient and Willow Ambulatory).
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, operational and IT teams to analyze workflows and implement system improvements.
• Evaluate software releases and enhancements for regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Perform testing, change management, incident resolution, and project coordination as SME for Epic Willow.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Clinical Discipline, or related field
