Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Epic Willow specialist to support Willow Inpatient and Ambulatory systems. You will analyze pharmacy workflows, implement improvements, and collaborate with clinicians, pharmacists, and IT to ensure safe, efficient medication management.

The role requires Epic Willow certification and 3+ years of related experience, with a path to growth in clinical informatics and system optimization within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical informatics or healthcare IT.
• 3+ years of application support with a Bachelor's degree; 5+ years in lieu of degree.
• Experience supporting Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory in a healthcare setting.
• Experience translating pharmacy workflows and requirements into system solutions.
• Experience testing, upgrades, change management, incident management, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of Epic Willow (Inpatient/Ambulatory).
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT to analyze workflows and implement system improvements.
• Evaluate releases and new functionality to improve clinical and business outcomes while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Develop testing plans, support implementations of enhancements, and coordinate changes across teams.
