Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Epic Willow application support analyst to manage day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance, and enhancements for Willow Inpatient and Willow Ambulatory systems. You will collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to analyze workflows and implement improvements that improve patient safety and operational efficiency.

The role requires Epic Willow certification and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant application support, clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or Epic experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience supporting Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory applications in a healthcare environment.
• Experience analyzing pharmacy workflows and translating business and clinical requirements into system solutions.
• Experience with testing, upgrades, change management, incident management, and system optimization.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, pharmacists, providers, nursing staff, and operational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support, incident resolution, change management, and project coordination for Epic Willow.
• Analyze pharmacy workflows, gather requirements, develop testing plans, and support implementation of enhancements.
• Evaluate software releases and upgrades to optimize clinical and business outcomes while ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, and IT to drive system optimization.
