Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks an Epic Willow Applications Support Analyst to manage day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance, and enhancements of Willow Inpatient and Ambulatory systems. You will collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to analyze workflows and implement system improvements for safe, efficient medication management.

This role requires Epic Willow certification and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, plus 3+ years of healthcare IT experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory Certification required.
3+ years of relevant application support or healthcare IT experience.
Experience supporting Epic Willow applications in a healthcare setting.
Experience analyzing pharmacy workflows and translating requirements into system solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of Epic Willow applications (Inpatient and/or Ambulatory).
Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to analyze workflows and implement improvements.
Evaluate software releases, upgrades, and new functionality to optimize outcomes while ensuring compliance and safety.
Develop testing plans and support implementation of system enhancements.
Provide incident resolution, change management, and project coordination as SME for Epic Willow.
