Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks an experienced Epic Willow Application Support specialist to maintain and enhance Willow Inpatient and Willow Ambulatory systems. You will collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT to optimize medication workflow, analyze requirements, and coordinate testing and deployments.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and Epic Willow certification; 3+ years in healthcare IT or clinical informatics with Willow applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent experience)
• Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory Certification required
• 3+ years of relevant application support or healthcare IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree
• Experience analyzing pharmacy workflows and translating requirements into system solutions
• Experience with testing, upgrades, change management, incident management, and optimization

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of Epic Willow applications (Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory)
• Collaborates with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, operational stakeholders, and IT teams to analyze workflows and implement system improvements
• Evaluate software releases, upgrades, and new functionality to optimize clinical and business outcomes while ensuring patient safety
• Perform workflow assessments, gather functional requirements, develop testing plans, and support implementation of enhancements
• Provide application support, incident resolution, change management, and project coordination as a subject matter expert for Epic Willow

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Clinical Discipline, or related field

Experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
