Job summary
Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks an Epic Willow Application Support professional to manage day-to-day support, optimization and upgrades for Willow Inpatient and Ambulatory systems. You will collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT to analyze workflows and implement safe, efficient medication management solutions.
The role requires Epic Willow certification and at least 3 years of relevant experience (or 5 years in lieu of a degree).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; experience may be considered in lieu.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant application support or Epic experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience supporting Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory applications in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support, incident resolution, change management and project coordination for Epic Willow.
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, operational stakeholders and IT to optimize workflows.
- Evaluate software releases, upgrades, and new functionality to improve clinical and business outcomes while ensuring patient safety.
- Perform workflow assessments, gather functional requirements, and support implementation of system enhancements.
