Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Epic Willow Application Analyst to manage day-to-day support, optimization, and enhancements of Willow Inpatient and Ambulatory systems. This role partners with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to improve medication workflows and patient safety.

Candidates must hold Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory certification and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 3+ years of healthcare IT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• . Must have Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory certification.
• . Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• . 3+ years of relevant application support or healthcare IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of Epic Willow applications.
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT to analyze workflows and implement system improvements.
• Evaluate releases, upgrades, and new functionality to optimize clinical/business outcomes while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct workflow assessments, gather requirements, develop testing plans, and support implementation of enhancements.
• Provide incident resolution, change management, and project coordination as SME for Epic Willow.
