Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks a skilled Epic Willow Specialist to maintain and optimize Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory systems. You will partner with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT to analyze workflows, implement improvements, and ensure safe medication management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in information systems, healthcare administration, pharmacy, clinical discipline, or related field.
• Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory Certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant application support, clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or Epic experience.
• Experience with Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to analyze pharmacy workflows and translate requirements into system solutions.
• Experience with testing, upgrades, change management, incident management, and optimization.
• Experience collaborating with pharmacists, providers, nursing staff, and operational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation, optimization, and maintenance of Epic Willow applications.
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to analyze workflows.
• Evaluate releases and upgrades to optimize clinical and business outcomes.
• Collect requirements, develop test plans, and support implementations.
• Provide incident resolution, change management, and project coordination.
