Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a customer service/front desk role or graduate of a front office/medical office program.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency in Epic during the introductory period.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and explain billing procedures and potential charges to patients.
• Greet patients and ensure a welcoming clinic environment with minimal complaints.
• Enter and update patient information accurately in the EMR system.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect required payments.
• Monitor and manage patient flow and scheduling to optimize the clinic experience.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to coordinate referrals and payor requirements.
• Assist patients in accessing government and community resources for care.
• Handle clerical duties and maintain accurate documentation and records.
