Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a customer service/front desk role or a graduate of a front office/medical office program.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Advise patients about charges and payment responsibilities to minimize complaints.
• Register patients in EMR and verify insurance coverage and payments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely billing and refunds as needed.
• Balance daily cash and process batches; verify accounts receivable and collect payments.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure referrals and appointments run smoothly.
