Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service/front desk experience or completion of a front office/medical office program.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency in Epic within the introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in EMR and verify insurance coverage.
• Explain billing procedures and anticipated charges to patients.
• Assist with payment collection and patient financial counseling.
• Coordinate referrals and access to patient resources.
• Back-up for other clinic duties as assigned.
