Job summary

Xtensys is seeking an Epic Applications Analyst - OpTime Anesthesia to provide intermediate-level, system-wide support for Epic applications across clinical and financial environments. You will install, configure, test, train, and maintain assigned applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule.

The role emphasizes Epic expertise, workflow analysis, and continuous improvement with travel up to 25% for go-lives, and a fully remote work arrangement

Qualifications

• Active Epic certification in the assigned application/module (Epic OpTime Anesthesia).
• 3+ years of experience in technology, healthcare, or a related industry.
• Hands-on experience supporting, configuring, building, or maintaining applications relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide system-level support for assigned Epic applications, including installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.
• Support application builds, upgrades, implementations, testing, and validation to maintain system functionality and stability.
• Investigate and resolve application issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions aligning with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, financial, IT, and other teams to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Provide end-user training and support, and promote application proficiency.
• Lead and participate in project planning, establish goals, milestones, and work plans.
• Communicate project status and risks, escalate complex issues when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve functionality and processes; stay updated on best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support system stability.
