Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Senior BI/Analytics professional to independently configure, monitor, and maintain Enterprise BI platforms and systems, ensuring performance and policy adherence. You will train analysts, manage upgrades, and enforce security and governance across BI tools.

Preferred candidates hold Epic Cogito certifications and BI tool expertise, with 5–7 years in Epic applications and analytics in healthcare.

Qualifications

Exhibit strong analytical and logical thinking, creativity, and communication skills.
Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to customer service.
Familiarity with 3rd party BI tools and administration thereof.
Comprehensive knowledge of hardware and software.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and productivity tools.
Understanding of EHR workflows and reporting in EHRs.
Ability to manage and monitor projects and milestones.

Responsibilities

Independently configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms, systems, and servers to meet operational needs.
Monitor analytical and operational BI tools and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor the usage of these systems to ensure that content created by developers adheres to policies, standards, and best practices; train analysts and end users; manage upgrades/changes; create job aids.
Independently provide support for BI/reporting systems, including maintenance, upgrades, security changes, testing, license provisioning, issue resolution, and go-lives.
Apply security changes to BI/reporting systems; manage access per policy and support security consolidation.
Manage the lifecycle of analytics content; audit creation, monitor usage, and retire content per processes.
Provide documentation for all tasks following standards.
Independently manage projects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
Stay informed about healthcare environment, EHR and BI technology trends to drive innovation.
Mentor junior team members in BI/reporting administration.
