Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced BI Administrator to independently configure, monitor, and maintain analytical platforms across healthcare ecosystems. You will manage BI content lifecycles, enforce policies, and educate analysts while supporting go-lives and upgrades.

The role requires Epic Cogito certifications, 5–7 years in Epic BI tools, and a strong understanding of healthcare IT and security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience with Epic Cogito and/or BI tools.
• Epic Cogito certifications to be obtained within 5 months of starting first Epic class.
• Typically requires 5–7 years of experience in Epic applications and BI tools.
• Learning plan requirements to be provided with offer includes any missing Epic Cogito certifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms, systems, and servers.
• Monitor BI tools and systems for optimal performance.
• Ensure content created by developers adheres to policies; train analysts and end users.
• Provide on-going BI/reporting system support including upgrades, security changes, testing, licenses, and go-lives.
