Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced BI/Analytics Platform Administrator to configure, monitor, and maintain BI systems across the enterprise. You will enforce governance, manage security access, and coach analysts and developers in BI tooling within a healthcare context.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in Epic BI environments, Epic Cogito certifications, and strong project management skills. Remote-friendly with occasional travel for teams and reviews.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Epic applications and BI tools experience.
• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent experience with Epic Cogito and BI tools.
• Epic Cogito certifications required or to be obtained within 5 months of start.
• Ability to manage security, auditing, and lifecycle of BI content.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain BI platforms and servers.
• Monitor and optimize BI tools performance and usage.
• Enforce content governance, standards, and best practices.
• Provide on-call support for BI/reporting systems and go-lives.
• Manage security access and consolidate security configurations.
• Audit analytics content lifecycle and retire unused content.
• Lead projects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Stay current with healthcare IT trends and Epic ecosystem.
• Mentor junior team members in BI administration.
