Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation seeks a detail‑oriented billing assistant to support daily charge entry within the Epic system. You will work closely with coding staff to ensure accurate CPT/HCPCS/ICD‑10 coding and timely charge entry, while maintaining meticulous documentation.

Strong Excel/Word skills and 1+ year in customer service or billing are preferred. This role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and collaboration with providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure revenue

Formación

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) required.
• Strong typing and data entry skills needed.
• Experience with billing or coding support is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Handle patient and insurer communications by phone.
• Enter charges into the Epic system from coding staff.
• Verify CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, revenue codes and other billing elements.
• Maintain workload queues and reconciliations to ensure timely entries.
• Identify and resolve charge discrepancies and missing information.
• Document actions and support revenue integrity processes.
