Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital is seeking a Revenue Integrity Specialist to support the organization’s revenue cycle by ensuring accurate charge capture, billing, and reimbursement using Epic and other systems. You will review charge edits, monitor work queues, and assist with CDM maintenance to improve billing accuracy and reduce denials.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in hospital revenue cycle or medical billing/coding.
• Strong CPT/HCPCS knowledge and payer guidelines.
• Experience with Epic billing system.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve Epic work queues related to charge review and billing exceptions.
• Research and resolve charging discrepancies prior to claim submission.
• Correct charging errors in Epic while complying with policies.
• Document findings in Epic and tracking systems.
• Review charge reconciliation reports for missing or duplicate charges.
• Verify services are properly charged and billed.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Review and resolve claim edits related to coding and payer requirements.
• Support audits of charge capture and billing accuracy.
• Collaborate with Coding and Patient Financial Services to resolve issues.
