Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced IT/Clinical Analyst to map, analyze, and improve Epic-based workflows across clinical and business processes. You will prepare business requirements documentation, configure systems, and develop test plans to ensure performance.

The role includes end-to-end testing, user training, and ongoing support, with remote work from eligible US states and on-call duties. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field and 3 years in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Typically 3 years in IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, requirements, testing and documentation.
Experience with Epic and other healthcare applications; project management experience using PM software.
Strong ability to work with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic.
Conduct workflow analysis and map critical processes using BPM techniques and industry best practices.
Prepare documentation for business requirements with diagrams and data models for discussion.
Configure systems to meet business requirements and develop tests to validate performance.
Lead testing (unit, integration, system, UAT) and track issues to resolution.
Develop training materials and train users on the application and processes.
Explain application functionality to users and assist with full process flows.
Maintain product documentation including workflows, specs, and troubleshooting.
Communicate project status and upgrades to clinic users; manage upgrade scheduling.
