Advocate Health in the United States is seeking an experienced Epic IT Analyst to join a fully remote, dayshift role. This position focuses on mapping, analyzing, and improving Epic workflows across clinical and business processes, with on-call duties and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation experiences.
• Experience in Epic and otherHealthcare applications.
• Project management experience with ability to use project management software.
• Ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision, to balance multiple tasks, be detail oriented, set priorities and accomplish assignments in a timely manner utilizing excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work closely with health care application users, vendors, and technical professionals.
• Demonstrated understanding of technical components and how they relate to applications.

Responsabilités

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes using BPA techniques and industry standards.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams, data models, and object models.
• Perform system configuration to meet business requirements.
• Develop test plans, cases, and scripts to validate function performance.
• Conduct unit, integration, system and end-user acceptance testing.
• Provide client training and develop training materials and trainers.
• Explain application functions to users and assist with usage.
• Develop and maintain product documentation including workflows, requirements, specs, installation instructions, user manuals, troubleshooting guides.
• Complete change and quality control documentation per standards.
• Communicate project status and upgrades to clinic users, including delays.
• Schedule and manage application version upgrades.
• Assist with support and troubleshooting as needed.
