Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an Epic Analyst to identify, map, and optimize clinical and business processes within the Epic ecosystem. This full-time role supports 8:00am–5:00pm with on-call responsibilities and is fully remote for qualified states.

You will develop documentation, test plans, train users, and coordinate system upgrades, working with IT and clinical teams to ensure accurate requirements and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation experiences.
• Experience with applications, operating systems and databases including hardware, platform, connectivity and interfaces; Epic and other Healthcare applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure and analyze clinical and business processes for Epic.
• Prepare documentation using diagrams, data flow diagrams, data models and object models.
• Configure systems to meet business requirements and develop test plans and scripts.
• Conduct unit, integration, system and end-user acceptance testing; document outcomes.
• Provide client training and develop training materials and users guides.
