Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an IT/Business Analyst with Epic experience to identify, map, and optimize clinical and business processes across Epic applications. You will analyze workflows, prepare requirements documents, and configure systems to meet business needs.

You will develop and execute test plans, train users, and support rollout and upgrades while maintaining project documentation and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, requirements, testing and documentation.
• Experience with Epic and other healthcare applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes using standard techniques.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams and models.
• Configure systems to meet business requirements and validate performance.
• Develop test plans, cases, and scripts; conduct testing and track issues.
• Provide client and user training and create training materials.
