Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an IT/Clinical Business Analyst to support Epic applications in a fully remote role. The position focuses on mapping and improving clinical and business processes, translating user needs into system specifications, and collaborating with vendors and users.

The role requires Epic certification within 6 months, a Bachelor’s in CS or related field, and about 3 years of IT/clinical experience. On-call duties and a 40-hour workweek are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, requirements, testing, and documentation.
• Experience in Epic and other Healthcare applications.
• Project management experience with ability to use project management software.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements with diagrams and models.
• Translate user requirements into functional/technical specs and review with users.
• Perform system configuration to meet business requirements.
• Develop test plans and validate performance through testing.
• Provide training and materials to end users.
