Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a qualified IT professional to map, analyze, and optimize Epic application workflows within a fully remote role. The position requires collaboration with clinical and business users, documentation of requirements, and execution of comprehensive testing across multiple Epic modules.

The role supports remote operations, with on-call duties and a focus on maintaining system integrity, user training, and ongoing documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation experiences.
• Experience in Epic and other Healthcare applications.
• Project management experience with ability to use project management software.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, balance multiple tasks, be detail oriented and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Perform workflow analysis and map out critical business processes using BPM techniques and industry standards.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams and data models.
• Perform system configuration to meet business requirements.
• Develop test plans, cases and scripts to validate functions.
• Conduct unit, integration, system and end-user acceptance testing and track issues.
