CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The role focuses on regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental projects in CDM Smith’s portfolio.

Responsibilities include supporting site investigations, developing DQOs/QAPPs/SAPs, and assisting with CSEMs and BERAs, collaborating with diverse teams, and mentoring junior staff while engaging with clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline with professional scientist registration/certification OR Master's degree in Science or related discipline.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Supports site investigations and analysis for human health risk assessments (HHRAs) and ecological risk assessments (ERAs).
• Supports human health and ecological risk teams and prepares DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Assists in planning for CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs, and BERAs for basic to high complexity.
• Collaborates with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists to implement project approaches.
• Provides technical evaluation of project documents on oversight projects and supports meetings with clients.
• Mentors junior staff and supports proposals in response to RFPs.
