Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The role focuses on regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local programs across diverse client sites.

You will work with scientists, engineers and toxicologists on risk assessments, QA/QC plans, data interpretation, and project proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science with professional registration/certification.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Travel may be required; frequency contingent on project needs.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations and risk assessments (HHRAs and ERAs).
• Assist with data quality objectives, QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Contribute to CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff.
• Assist sales with proposals and RFPs.
• Develop white papers on emerging environmental issues.
• Present at conferences to increase visibility of services.
• Perform other duties as required.
