Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The role focuses on regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local projects in CDM Smith’s portfolio.

You will assist with site investigations, develop data objectives and analysis plans, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement approved approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field (or Master's).
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations and data interpretation for human health and ecological risk assessments.
• Assist with DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Prepare CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs and BERAs for projects.
• Collaborate with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists to implement project approaches.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and mentor growth.
• Support proposals and client interactions.
