Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps is seeking an entry-level Student Success Coach and Mentor to support students across elementary, middle, and high school. You will coach and mentor students to improve academic performance, attendance, and behavior while collaborating with teachers and staff.

Training is provided, with ongoing support from partner teachers and school staff. This position offers full-time hours and the chance to contribute to student success and community impact.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• 2–4 weeks of onboarding at the start of the year.
• Supports collaboration with teachers and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students to support academic success and attendance.
• Plan and monitor student progress with teachers.
• Help develop literacy and math activities.
• Create engaging, safe, and inclusive classroom spaces.
