Job summary

Serco is seeking Shipyard Laborers to join a high-profile project supporting the US Navy. You will be part of a team delivering high technology onboard U.S.

Naval Ships and military installations, with duties including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving supplies and materials. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, pass background and drug screening, willingness to work second shift, and up to 10% travel to Norfolk/Chesapeake shipyards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening.
• Willingness to work second shift and to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Perform general manual labor including loading, unloading, lifting and moving supplies and materials.
• Perform duties as a fire watch and welder's helper; install electric cable when needed.
• Work under immediate supervision; primary duties do not require independent judgment.
