The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, access to shipyards, and willingness to work second shift and overtime with occasional travel to nearby shipyards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to access shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS) and pass background checks.
• Willingness to work second shift and overtime (>40 hours/week).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to Norfolk/Chesapeake shipyards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general manual labor including loading, unloading, lifting and moving supplies and materials.
• Perform duties as a fire watch and welder's helper and install electric cable when needed.
• Work under immediate supervision.
• Primary job functions do not typically require independent judgment.
