Serco is hiring Shipyard Laborers to support a high-profile project with the US Navy, based in the Norfolk, VA and Newport News, VA area. You will join a team delivering high-technology installations onboard U.S. Naval Ships and facilities.

The role includes manual labor, fire watch and welder's helper duties, and potential travel to shipyards. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Able to travel up to 10% to different shipyards.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general manual labor including loading, unloading, lifting and moving supplies and materials.
• Perform duties as a fire watch and welder's helper and install electric cable when needed.
• Work under immediate supervision.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
