Job summary

Epic is recruiting for an Operations Center Technician to maintain business continuity across its systems from the Facilities Command Center. The role monitors real‑time alerts, manages access and security systems, and coordinates emergency responses to disruptions at Epic's Madison‑area campus.

Qualifications

• Must have strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to operate in a high‑pressure, real‑time environment.
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or related field.
• Willingness to work 2nd/3rd shift and weekends.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
• COVID‑19 vaccination required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time alerts and manage access and security systems.
• Oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center.
• Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data.
• Coordinate emergency responses with internal teams and emergency services.
• Contribute to maintaining business continuity across Epic's campuses.
