Job summary

Epic is seeking an Operations Center Technician to monitor real‑time alerts, manage access and security systems, and oversee building operations from our Facilities Command Center. You will identify issues via video feeds and data, coordinating emergency responses when disruptions occur and working with internal teams to restore normal operations quickly and safely.

Relocation to Madison, WI is provided with assistance; candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure, real‑time environment.
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high‑volume field.
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
• COVID‑19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time alerts from Epic's Facilities Command Center.
• Manage access and security systems for campus safety.
• Oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center.
• Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data.
• Coordinate emergency responses during disruptions like natural disasters or power outages.
• Collaborate with internal teams and emergency services to restore normal operations.
