Job summary

Epic is seeking an Operations Center Technician to monitor real-time alerts and manage access and security systems from the Facilities Command Center. You will coordinate emergency responses and work closely with internal teams to maintain campus safety and business continuity.

The role requires relocation to the Madison, WI area with relocation assistance provided. Candidates should be comfortable with 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends, and must be eligible to work in the United States without visa

Qualifications

Must have strong situational awareness and decisive decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and coordination skills are required.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, real-time environment.
Experience or interest in security operations or emergency response is desirable.
Willingness to work 2nd/3rd shift and weekends as needed.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Relocation to the Madison, WI area with relocation assistance available.
COVID-19 vaccination required or per policy.

Responsibilities

Monitor real-time alerts and security systems from the Facilities Command Center.
Manage access control and security systems to protect campus facilities.
Oversee building operations and respond to incidents using video feeds and system data.
Coordinate emergency responses with internal teams and external services when disruptions occur.
