Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an Associate Member Services Representative (MSR) to join our team in an entry-level role. You will learn foundational branch operations while providing exemplary member service, handling inquiries by phone and in person, and performing routine duties with a focus on accuracy and security.

As you gain experience, you will support cash handling, account maintenance, and basic account openings under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; preferred Bachelor's or CCUE; NC-CTP pathway noted.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building member confidence, respect and trust.
• Must complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member inquiries by telephone and in person across service channels.
• Process transactions and balance a cash drawer.
• Operate drive-through window as needed.
• Assist with wire transfers and foreign currency handling.
• Maintain records and assist other departments to fulfill requests.
