Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative (MSR) to learn foundational branch operations. The role focuses on delivering exemplary member service by handling inquiries by phone and in person, processing transactions, and balancing a cash drawer.

You will participate in training modules, learn basic account openings, and gain exposure to financial products and services while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED
• PreferredBachelor’s degree or CCUE Certification or AA/AS via NC-CTP
• Aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust in the Credit Union
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in a courteous, professional manner across in-person, phone, and digital channels
• Process transactions and balance the cash drawer according to standards
• Assist with cash box management, account origination and maintenance
• Handle foreign and domestic wire transfers and currency exchange as needed
• Organize, file and scan documents daily and support other departments to fulfill member requests
• Learn CXone and assist MSS as requested
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with SECU policies and regulatory requirements
