Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to learn branch operations, assist members in person and by phone, and support daily cash and account activities. You will perform routine duties, follow standard procedures, and gain foundational knowledge under supervision.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, handling inquiries, and supporting across service channels while upholding SECU policies and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred - Bachelor’s degree, or CCUE Certification, or Associate of Arts/Science via NC-CTP.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information and secure access to accounts.
• Balance cash drawer and process transactions per Performance Measurement Criteria standards.
• Greet and assist members via in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Operate drive-through window as needed.
• Balance vault and cash handling equipment.
• Process wire transfers and currency exchanges.
• Organize, file and scan documents daily.
• Learn CXone and assist MSS as requested.
• Learn Financial Advisory and Real Estate products and provide referrals.
• Maintain daily and monthly records for reports.
• Attend training and maintain punctuality.
• Complete tasks as assigned by management.
