Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate MSO to learn branch operations, provide exemplary member service, and support cash handling and account maintenance. This role includes training in lending and collections, and gaining familiarity with SECU policies and procedures.

The position emphasizes greeting members, handling inquiries, and supporting teamwork while building confidence and trust within the credit union environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred – Bachelor's degree, CCUE Certification, or AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Demonstrates SECU's Core Values.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building member trust.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in person and by phone.
• Respond to member inquiries and process service requests.
• Handle cash drawer with accuracy and security.
• Open basic accounts and assist with in-person transactions.
• Learn lending and collections processes at this level.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill member requests.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow SECU policies.
