Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an energetic Associate Member Services Officer (MSO) to begin a career in branch operations. You will respond to member inquiries by phone and in person, handle cash-related duties, and participate in training across lending, collections, and consumer services under supervision.

As the role grows, you will learn to open basic accounts, process wires, and assist with notary services, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to SECU policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Complete SECU Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Attend New Employee Training (E&E) and other core modules.
• Greet and assist members courteously via in-person and phone channels.
• Answer phones and assist with service requests and notary services.
• Learn cash handling and balance a cash drawer per performance standards.
• Process wires and assist with foreign currency when needed.
• Support other departments to facilitate member requests and document activities.
