Job summary

SECU is seeking an Associate Member Services Representative to join our team in a full-time capacity. This entry-level role provides foundational knowledge of branch operations, handling routine transactions and delivering exemplary member service by phone and in person.

You'll learn cash box management, account origination and maintenance, and respond to member inquiries across channels. The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork within a credit union environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred – Bachelor’s degree, or CCUE Certification, or AA/AS.
• Demonstrates SECU Core Values.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building trust.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Comply with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Balance the cash drawer and process transactions.
• Greet and assist members in-person, by phone, and digitally.
• Operate a drive-through window as needed.
• Process wire transfers (foreign and domestic) and handle deposits.
• Maintain records and organize documents daily.
• Support opening basic accounts and cross-sell services.
• Troubleshoot issues with accounts, cards, and online access.
