Job summary

SECU is hiring an Associate Member Services Representative to join our Asheboro, NC team. The role provides foundational training in branch operations and emphasizes exemplary member service through in-person, phone, and digital channels.

New hires complete E&E training and then progress through core modules, gaining knowledge of accounts, lending overview, and security policies while balancing responsibilities and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree, CCUE Certification, or an Associate degree via NC-CTP.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in person and over the phone across service channels.
• Balance a cash drawer and process routine transactions.
• Open basic accounts and assist with wire transfers and currency handling.
• Follow MIP procedures, adhere to security and confidentiality policies.
• Respond to member inquiries and troubleshoot account issues.
• Organize documents and maintain daily records and reports.
