Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative in Monroe, NC. The role provides foundational knowledge of branch operations and focuses on exemplary member service by assisting members in person and by phone, including cash handling and account maintenance.

As training progresses, you’ll learn balance procedures, wire processing, and basic financial product knowledge, with opportunities to refer customers to advisory services as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.
• Willingness to learn branch operations and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary member service by responding to inquiries in person and by phone.
• Balance the cash drawer and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Process transactions and support account origination and maintenance.
• Open basic accounts during training under supervision.
• Answer phones and assist members with service requests across channels.
• Operate drive-through window as needed.
• Maintain daily and monthly records and reports.
