Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) in North Carolina is hiring an Associate Member Services Officer (MSO). This entry-level role develops foundational knowledge of branch operations, handling routine duties, and delivering exceptional member service in person, over the phone, and via digital channels.

On the job, you will begin training in lending, collections, and customer advisory services, including notary tasks and basic account openings under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building trust.
• Must complete Core Module Program within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary member service by responding to inquiries in person and by phone.
• Handle cash drawer and basic account origination/maintenance.
• Process foreign and domestic wire transfers and currency orders.
• Learn CXone and assist other MSO as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow security procedures.
• Organize, file, and scan documents daily.
