Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Officer in North Carolina to learn branch operations and deliver exemplary member service. You will greet members, process routine transactions, and begin training in lending and collections under supervision.

You will perform cash handling, notary requests, and support digital channels while maintaining confidentiality and following policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Bachelor’s, CCUE, or AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Demonstrates SECU core values.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building trust.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with in-person and phone service requests.
• Handle cash drawer and balance daily.
• Process notary services as requested.
• Learn lending and collections basics through training.
• Organize, file, and scan documents daily.
• Support wire transfers and currency exchange as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
