Qualifications

• No prior IT experience required.
• Interest in technology, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
• Dependability, clear communication, and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to travel between assigned restaurant locations; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform routine hands-on equipment tasks safely in a restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot POS registers, kitchen video systems (KVS), printers, scanners, PEDs, controllers, and peripherals.
• Respond to technical issues in drive-thru, front counter, kitchen, and offices.
• Identify equipment and escalate complex issues to authorized support.
• Assist with installing, labeling, testing, and replacing computers, pre-imaged registers, and related equipment.
• Verify operation after repairs and keep work areas organized.
• Learn basic connectivity troubleshooting, cable management, and equipment identification.
• Travel to assigned restaurants for troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with managers, service desk, and vendors to minimize disruption.
• Record service activity and recurring problems using ticketing systems.
