Job summary

Stieglitz Family McDonald’s is seeking an entry-level IT Support professional to assist across our restaurant locations. You will help with installation, troubleshooting, equipment replacement, maintenance, and documentation with no prior IT experience required and on-the-job training provided.

Role involves travel between locations, supporting POS, video systems, printers, and peripherals, and training restaurant staff in basic troubleshooting. You will report to the Technology Department Lead.

Qualifications

• No prior IT experience required; practical on-the-job training provided.
• Willingness to travel between restaurant locations; valid driver’s license required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting POS registers, kitchen video systems, printers, scanners, and payment devices.
• Help install, label, test, and replace computers and related equipment; ensure proper operation after repairs.
• Learn basic connectivity troubleshooting and preventive maintenance; identify damaged or ageing equipment.
• Travel to assigned restaurants for troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades; coordinate with managers and service desks.
• Record service activity and recurring issues using approved tools and ticketing systems.
