Job summary
Eaton’s Engineering Service & Systems Division is seeking an Early Career Field Service Technician to launch a hands-on career in the electrical power industry. You will work with seasoned field service professionals to support installation, testing, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical distribution equipment.
You’ll participate in a structured training program combining classroom, virtual, hands-on technician training, and on‑the‑job experience, with mentorship to
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field, or expected completion within 6 months.
- Minimum GPA 2.80 or higher.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Company will not sponsor immigration or work authorization.
- Ability to travel and work variable hours, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Support installation, testing, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical distribution equipment.
- Learn to safely operate electrical testing and diagnostic equipment with guidance from experienced technicians.
- Assist with service projects on-site and remotely as part of a structured training program.
