Job summary
Eaton’s Engineering Service & Systems Division is seeking an Early Career Field Service Technician to join our team. The program is designed for recent technical school graduates eager to start a hands-on career in electrical power, working with experienced field service professionals to install, test, startup, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment on-site and remotely.
You’ll learn to safely use testing and diagnostic tools, participate in a structured training program combining
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related technical field, or expected completion within 6 months.
- Minimum GPA 2.80 or higher.
- Eaton will not sponsor immigration status.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, testing, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical power distribution equipment.
- Support customers on-site and remotely under supervision of experienced field service professionals.
- Learn to safely use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment and develop technical skills for career growth.
