Job summary

Eaton is seeking an early-career Field Service Engineer to support electrical power distribution projects across diverse customer sites in the United States. You will gain hands-on experience solving power system challenges while working with senior mentors and a structured development curriculum.

The role offers a formal training program, exposure to multiple regions, and opportunities to advance into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution with graduation date before Aug 2027.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 overall; internship/co-op or 3 months in technician/maintenance role on machines.
• Eaton excludes CPT/OPT/STEM OPT visa sponsorship; relocation within the US required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers and support field service needs.
• Perform complex engineering assignments including testing and design work as needed.
• Display proficiency in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting, and protective relays.
• Generate timely service reports on work performed and product performance.
