Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative I to prospect and acquire new Commercial and Industrial customers in the Texas ERCOT region.

The role balances self-originated opportunities via campaigns and Hoovers data, with a focus on building a robust pipeline in Houston or Dallas. You will evaluate creditworthiness, tailor proposals, and master ENGIE offerings to meet customer needs, while negotiating terms and closing deals.

Qualifications

• Direct sales experience, ideally in retail energy.
• Persuasive communication and negotiation skills with executive-level decision-makers.
• Self-driven with quick learning of products, processes, and systems.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new Commercial and Industrial customers in the Texas ERCOT region.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness according to Credit Guidelines and gather data for risk analysis.
• Gather consumption data and tailor price proposals to customer needs.
• Explain ENGIE offerings, negotiate terms, and close transactions with cross-functional collaboration.
