Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking an entry-level Sales Representative I to prospect and acquire new Commercial & Industrial customers in the Texas ERCOT region, with a hybrid work arrangement in Houston or Dallas. You will develop a robust sales pipeline through marketing campaigns, cold calling, and networking, reporting to the Regional VP of Sales - ERCOT.

Responsibilities include evaluating creditworthiness, gathering consumption data, and tailoring proposals to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or three years of hands-on business/marketing experience.
• Direct sales experience in retail energy is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with executive-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers in the Texas ERCOT region.
• Assess creditworthiness and gather data for credit risk analysis per guidelines.
• Tailor proposals using customer data and load patterns; present ENGIE product offerings.
• Negotiate terms and close deals, coordinating with internal teams for delivery and revenue.
